WWE Money In The Bank 2016: 5 Near-Guarantees & 5 Possible Surprises
2. Near-Guarantee: Roman Reigns 'Removes The Asterisk'
First things first, it's embarrassing how much more charismatic Seth Rollins is than Roman Reigns. That Ambrose Asylum segment on Raw featuring The Shield confirmed just how far behind Reigns in comparison to his former brethren.
Does that mean that Rollins is going to beat Reigns and reclaim the title he never lost? Sadly not. If it remains a one-on-one contest, Money in the Bank will act as an opportunity for Roman Reigns to remove the asterisk beside his championship reign, nothing more.
WWE has a one-way ticket aboard the Reigns Express. Where the line ends is uncertain, but the last stop is definitely not against Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank.
Rollins will surely get the chance to 'finish' his WWE Championship reign at some stage, but he will not be victorious in his return match from knee surgery. Reigns will be succesful in his title defence and beat the man who never lost the title.
But there may be a twist in the tale...
