WWE Money In The Bank 2018: 10 Things WWE Got Right

7. Keeping Bobby Lashley Vs. Sami Zayn Short

There was next-to-no feel good factor heading into the Bobby Lashley vs. Sami Zayn match.

One of the most atrociously-booked feuds in living memory, the clumsy program needed a short, satisfying match so everyone could try to pretend segments like the dreaded 'Lashley's Three Sisters' guff never happened, and it got one. This, sandwiched between Bryan vs. Cass and the Intercontinental Title match, was what it needed to be.

Written as a glorified squash, the six-minute thumping gave Zayn comeuppance for both teasing and jumping Lashley in recent weeks. Not only that, but it also finally looks like the penny has dropped for WWE's writing team when it comes to Bobby. Maybe now he'll be used properly as a dangerous fighter rather than in dreadful comedic skits that play to his verbal weaknesses rather than his obvious physical strengths.

Though it was undeniably filler, at least Lashley vs. Zayn didn't drag on and on at MITB.
