This won't be quite as weird as WrestleMania 36.

WWE has settled into a groove of producing shows without live audiences. That's...slightly worrying on one hand (the roster must be crying out to hear some pops/heat/anything that isn't the sound of Michael Cole hyping up their win as the churning of 'Big Ass Fans' hums in the background), but it's the only way right now.

At MITB, the company are determined to continue down the path of cinematic, over-the-top drama rather than trying to present serious pro wrestling. That's why both briefcase ladder matches are happening at the same freakin' time, and it's why they were filmed at WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.

The company know fans would snooze their way through any attempts to pretend in-studio wrestling without an audience is thrilling stuff; some matches fare better than others, but it's totally preferably to silly things up a little and try some different things during the current, unpredictable climate.
