WWE Money In The Bank 2021: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
6. WWE Title: Bobby Lashley (c) Vs. Kofi Kingston
Result: Lashley makes Kofi pass out to the Hurt Lock to retain the title (7:35).
Rating: Nobody was expecting anything but a decisive Lashley victory here, and the booking did a fantastic job of putting him over as an absolute monster of a champion.
While it's understandable that some fans might've craved a more competitive match, at least it was an entertaining squash, with Kofi selling his ass off to make Lashley look as barbaric as possible.
There are sensible times to book matches this way, and this was certainly one of them. Nobody wants to see a grim steamroll every time, but they can effectively sell a wrestler's dominance ahead of a more pivotal match.
It was sensibly kept short and did exactly what it needed to within that brief time. Not a classic, but did anyone really expect it to be? 6/10
