Cash In: Successful.

Inserting himself into WWE highlight packages for the rest of time, Dolph Ziggler nearly blew the roof off the place on the Raw after WrestleMania 29 when he cashed in his MITB contract against World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio.

Ziggler had defended his contract against both John Cena and Chris Jericho in the lead up to this moment and it felt as though he was set to become the next big thing in the company. However, a badly timed concussion shelved him for a month and Ziggler would lose his belt back to Del Rio just 69 days (nice) after his crowd-pleasing win. He hasn't won another World Title since.

He did enjoy a decent feud with The Authority throughout 2014-2015, but struggled to generate the sort of reaction he did on the night of his famous cash-in in the years that followed.

He's now settled into a veteran mid-card gatekeeper role and is in the midst of one of the most entertaining feuds WWE have offered in recent history with Otis, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville on SmackDown.
