Cash In: Unsuccessful.

Baron Corbin was yet another unfortunate superstar who failed to successfully cash-in his MITB contract, falling to WWE Champion Jinder Mahal on SmackDown Live in 2017 after John Cena distracted him mid-match.

Corbin then lost a match against Cena at SummerSlam before going on to win the US Championship from AJ Styles in a triple threat match at Hell in a Cell, which also included Tye Dillinger.

After being sent over to Raw in the Superstar Shake-up, he'd then transition into the role of authority figure, becoming a constant source of frustration on the red show throughout 2018-2019. His days as a waistcoat wearing douchebag came to an end long before Big Banter was crowned the new King of the Ring in 2019, taking on the mantle of 'King' Corbin from there on out.

A never-ending feud with Roman Reigns kept him busy for the early part of 2020, but he's now currently destroying Elias on a week-to-week basis on Friday Night SmackDown on FOX.
