7. Dean Ambrose (Money In The Bank, 2016)
Cash In: Successful.
Dean Ambrose won the 2016 MITB ladder match at the titular PPV and unfortunately for old Shield buddy Seth Rollins, he wasn't finished there.
In a whirlwind climax to what had been a pretty entertaining night already, Ambrose cashed-in on Rollins moments after he'd won the belt from Roman Reigns. This meant that all three of the one-time Shield allies held the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the same night.
Ambrose's run as WWE Champion saw him fend off both Rollins and Reigns at Battleground and Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam, before dropping the title to AJ Styles at Backlash. He wouldn't win another World Title during the rest of his run in the company, but he did manage to become Intercontinental Champion a couple more times and won the Raw Tag Team Championships twice with Rollins.
He turned on Rollins towards the end of his tenure in the company and beat him for the IC title at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs in 2018. However, Ambrose was gone from the company just under five months later.
Under his old Jon Moxley moniker, the former WWE star is now causing a stir on AEW as their World Champion and also holds the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship in NJPW.
