In 2018, Alexa Bliss became the third WWE superstar to cash-in her MITB briefcase on the same night she won it.
Ronda Rousey had been battling Raw Women's Champion Nia Jax on the night and just as the challenger looked to be closing in on her first piece of gold in the company, Bliss smashed 'The Baddest Woman on the Planet' in the back with her new game-changer.
Bliss walked out of MITB as the new champ, but 63 days later Rousey got her revenge and tapped out Bliss at SummerSlam in their title match.
After her reign as Raw Women's Champion came to an end, Bliss began to appear sporadically on WWE programming. Bliss was reportedly taking a step back from in-ring competition to recover from multiple injuries. This frustrating period came to an end in 2019 and Bliss eventually found herself teaming with Nikki Cross, with the pair going on to become two-time Women's Tag Team Champions.
They recently successfully defended the belts (which they won from The Kabuki Warriors at WrestleMania 36) on the April 24, 2020 edition of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX against Carmella and Dana Brooke.
