Cash In: Successful.

Mark Henry and Big Show had just finished going to war with each other in a World Heavyweight Title chairs match at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2011 when MITB contract holder Daniel Bryan sprinted down to the ring to spoil the party.

In winning the big gold belt, Bryan became the first ever NXT superstar to win a world title.

And that was about as good as it ever got for Bryan...

...kidding.

Daniel would experience his fair share of ups and downs after winning his first WWE World Championship, losing his title in 18 seconds against Sheamus at WrestleMania XXVIII being a particular low point. He would bounce back with the terrific aforementioned Team Hell No partnership with Kane and eventually became the most over star in the company, beating the odds to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania XXX.

Bryan would eventually be forced to retire from in-ring competition due to multiple concussions and took up the role of SmackDown Live General manager in 2016.

Amazingly, Bryan was cleared for a return in 2018 and completely ripped up the script by transforming himself into the heelish 'Planet's Champion' after winning the WWE Championship.

He can currently be found putting over upcoming stars and putting on bangers on SmackDown.
