WWE: My WrestleMania 29 Experience

The Pre-"Show"

Crowd Day Soon enough the pre-show started and we expected at least a couple of jobber matches to take place before the IC title match but instead, we were all treated to ALL the build up to Mania. Needless to say this was actually pretty boring and difficult to watch as the screens were malfunctioning, cutting out every few seconds or so. We hoped this would not continue throughout the night. With the event taking place in New York (let€™s face it, it was a NYC crowd), the crowd got pretty restless and spattering€™s of boring chants started but didn€™t take hold. By the time The Miz came out everyone was dying to cheer so he managed to get a pretty healthy reaction, nothing on that of Wades though as it would appear the entire weekend was made up of plenty of Brits. I€™m not too much of a fan of Wade€™s even if he does come from a town only 30+ miles away so my reaction to either was to simply stand up while the Mrs took some pictures. Finally, mania was starting. Preshow Miz The outcome was inevitable really but with a crowd wanting to make some noise it appeared to go over quite well. I was battling with a spotlight on the rig above the ring that was staring right at us so missed the majority trying to find the best way to watch the action. I decided that after paying a ludicrous amount of money to be there I wasn€™t going to watch a screen. Spotlight be damned!
