WWE Night Of Champions: 10 Awesome Moments

8. The Dudleyz Satisfy Fan 'Tables' Chants

Following the cheap DQ win for Bubba Ray and D-Von at Night Of Champions, The Dudley Boyz wanted to give fans something to cheer. The folks in attendance booed the result of the WWE Tag-Team Title bout mercilessly, mainly because they desperately wanted The Dudleyz to bag the belts. At the very least, they got to see someone put through a table. Ironically, it was The New Day who brought the table into the ring. Admittedly, fans would have responded had one of The Dudley Boyz been crashed through the wood, but they were borderline giddy when Xavier Woods turned to be met with thunderous 3-D. This was a brilliant example of masking a match result by giving fans something else they wanted to see. It seems fairly obvious that WWE are gearing up to announce The New Day vs. The Dudley Boyz in a Tag-Team Tables Match at some point in the near future. This, along with the disqualification finish, was part of the build towards that inevitability. Woods got great height on his leap into the move, and it always pops the crowd. Night Of Champions was no exception.
