5. Chris Jericho Puts Over Braun Strowman
Introducing Chris Jericho as the surprise partner of Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose was a cool moment. Fans weren't expecting to hear his infamous entrance music hit, but it provoked a genuine reaction of glee from onlookers inside the Toyota Center in Houston, Taxas. Jericho's performance was also very unselfish. At this point in his career, that's exactly how things should be for Y2J. Wins don't quite matter the same way they used to, Jericho is comfortable in his role of being a veteran who pops his head in the door every now and then. It's a position well-suited to him, and he did the right thing by agreeing to take the fall for WWE's new monster, Braun Strowman. Jericho's loss and subsequent falling out with Reigns and Ambrose keeps their feud against The Wyatt Family ticking along. Bray Wyatt will be able to argue that his group can't be stopped, and Strowman looked impressively like an absolute killer during the match itself. Knocking off a legend like Chris Jericho to close the match was the icing on the proverbial cake.
