3. Edge Defeated His "Brother" Christian In A Ladder Match

There were so many ladder matches in WWE in 2000 and 2001. It's fair to say that WWE overdid it because they did them in tag matches, in singles and even on television a few times too. They realized the matches were always great, so they went wild with them. They were feuding because Edge was having success on his own as the 2001 King of the Ring winner. Christian was jealous. It turned Edge face, Christian stayed heel and he ended up winning the IC Title. They hung up the IC Title and put it on the line in this Ladder Match. It was a very balanced match in that each guy had multiple chances to ring. Three ladders were involved. They utilized chairs as well. Their bumps weren't as big or significant as they were when they had tag team TLC matches with the Hardys & Dudleys, but it was still a well constructed ladder match. A big spot was Edge hitting a Spear while Christian was on the ladder. They also did a bump where they both fell off ladders and went crashing on the floor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9jR4CK1f_4 Edge got the win after 22 minutes thanks to a Conchairto spot at the top of two ladders. It was long for a one on one ladder match with a very decisive ending. It was also at a point in their careers where they were called brothers in the storyline. That got dropped years later. There weren't a lot of Edge vs. Christian matches. It's a shame we didn't get more. This is probably the best one.
