WWE No Mercy 2016: 10 Awesome Moments
8. Double German Suplex
For years and years, the same old stories have been circulating about John Cena. Simply type the man's name into your favourite search engine, load up your favourite wrestling forum or social media site, and prepare to be hit with numerous accusations that the man 'can't wrestle'. Anyone watching No Mercy will know different.
Cena is highly effective when in there with the right kind of performers. Both Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles represent that kind of talent, they were able to pull the best out of WWE's franchise player. Bumping like a madman, Cena wasn't afraid to throw his body around in order to make his Triple Threat opener a potential show-stealer.
At one point, Cena even interrupted a physical exchange between Styles and Ambrose. Grabbing AJ, he arched his back into a beautiful German Suplex. At exactly the same time, Styles clasped his hands around Dean's waist, performing the exact same move as the one he was being nailed with.
Spots like that can't be easy to perform smoothly, credit has to go to the trio for pulling it off without a hitch.
