The live crowd were at it again during Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz. Some amazing promo work from both men had set the tone for what could be expected, this was Ziggler's career up against Miz's WWE Intercontinental Title. Those watching were told this time and time again by the announce team of Mauro Ranallo, JBL and David Otunga.

Dolph's desperation to keep himself in the company came across loud and clear. At one point in the match, the audience were right there with him and believed that he had things well in hand. Hitting his patented Zig-Zag finisher from behind, Ziggler crawled over his rival and made the cover.

There seemed to be an eternity between the referee's two count and what promised to be a three. Right at the last second, The Miz was able to haul his shoulder off the canvas. Falling back into their seats, fans around ringside clearly felt that Dolph was about to become the new Intercontinental Champion.

That would be the case, they only had to wait. Evident tension made this near fall sweet.
