Although true that Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins did work together effectively as part of The Shield, they are still fresh off a storyline which had them working out personal differences after years apart. It's realistic then that they wouldn't be the same well-oiled machine they were before, even if they are currently Raw Tag-Team Champions.

This is very much the early days of a journey back to the glory days of before for Ambrose and Rollins, so it made sense that Sheamus and Cesaro were the ones to display superior teamwork at No Mercy. Quick tags, great double-team moves and communication played a part in The Bar's domination of this one. That was the right layout for the tag title match.

Watch the match again and you'll see some slick psychology from Sheamus and Cesaro too. The eye contact they made after their opponents constantly kicked out of their moves was an expert lesson in how to put across teamwork.
