WWE No Way Out PPV Picks & Predictions: John Laurinaitis To Be Fired

WWE World Heavyweight Title: Sheamus (c) vs Dolph Ziggler This was originally going to be Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio, but as we have already mentioned Alberto is out yet again with a serious injury. As a result Dolph Ziggler get€™s his chance to pick up the slack - but is it too early? It is our belief that Ziggler should be the Money in the Bank winner but in the wrestling business everything changes in a heartbeat and you have to take your opportunities when they come along. If WWE is serious about building Sheamus into a legit main eventer it€™s probably too early to take the strap off him - he needs more matches against established stars to help him secure his place as a top guy. So, as much as we€™d love to see Dolph leave New Jersey with the heavyweight championship the time just isn€™t right. WhatCulture! predicts Sheamus gets another win but Ziggy looks really strong. WWE Championship: CM Punk (c) vs Daniel Bryan vs Kane We spoke about it at the beginning of this piece, the WWE championship match that should have been another classic Punk/Bryan affair except for the inclusion (intrusion) of Kane, the Big Red Monster. Now don€™t get us wrong, we love Kane, but he just doesn€™t fit into this match one bit. Any hopes of a scientific masterpiece went right out of the window when WWE announced he was involved. Then there was a glimmer of hope he€™d challenge Sheamus instead but that never happened. So we€™re stuck with him. Kane is capable of a decent match though, especially with the right opponent (or opponents) so this isn€™t going to be anywhere near the worst match on the card, and realistically could still be the best. Either way CM Punk leaves with the gold. Hopefully Kane takes the pin. Steel Cage Match: John Cena vs Big Show *John Laurinaitis will be fired if John Cena wins, John Cena will be fired if Big Show wins. Both Laurinaitis and Vince McMahon will be at ringside. John Cena and The Big Show will battle it out in a steel cage in the PPV main event. With Show€™s recent mega turn this should be a good opportunity for him to dominate the €˜face€™ of WWE in an environment that will not expose his growing limitations. Both Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis are involved in the main event. The last we remember Laurinaitis was still Vince€™s right-hand-man so we would expect that there€™s a swerve coming by the end of this. The added stipulation of loser gets fired suggests someone is getting written off television but with rumors of Show/Punk at Summerslam it€™s difficult to guess who€™s going over in this one. WhatCulture! predicts Big Show gets the win with help from Vince. Laurinaitis, Vince and Show then band together to oppose Triple H, the man who removed Vince from power. So there you have it. A card stacked from top to bottom with lackluster matches top and tailed by 2 intriguing wold title matches. It seems that WWE would rather focus on Triple H€™s impromptu segment addressing the €˜Brock Lesnar situation€™, which will inevitably set up the Hunter/Lesnar bout at Summerslam. It will be interesting to see how well WWE builds its 1000th episode of RAW because the build for No Way Out has been practically non existent. Let us know how you feel about No Way Out, the matches and our predictions. Have your say below...
