Even though the beginning of Emmas entrance theme gives you the memory of her up tempo track that she used to dance to the ring to, the new Emma is all business and she thrives on being evil. When she came out for her title match with Bayley, she was focused on trying to win the title and didnt give a crap whether the Blackpool crowd cheered her or not. Accompanied by Dana Brooke, Emma has a partner to bounce off of that has really enhanced her act. Throughout the bout, Emma would carry out any sneaky tactic to try and become the NXT Womens Champion. One of my favourite aspects of pro wrestling when its at its best, is when a character works the match in the style of their character and thats exactly what Emma did here. Her facial expressions were on point, she cheated at any opportunity and she tried to rile up the crowd and actively get to hate her, any way she could. All of the above might sound like wrestling 101, but not that many wrestlers pull if off as well as Emma does. She might have gotten to the main roster and not had it be a big success, but if her performance in Blackpool is anything to go by, shes gonna make sure the second time, that things go her way.
