After plentiful speculation, it looks as if WWE's relationship with Full Sail University is over.

As per the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE will now use the Capitol Wrestling Center, aka the Performance Center, as the permanent home for NXT programming moving forward.

NXT has emanated from the CWC for the past year or so due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions put in place as a result of that. Now, the CWC will be getting an upgrade over the next month as part of WWE's plans to give the NXT product a new look - which means leaving Full Sail behind.

This week's NXT broadcast saw Samoa Joe and Karrion Kross destroy some of the ringside barricades at the CWC, and this is the kayfabe reason being given as to why the venue is being upgraded.

WWE is set to tape a month's worth of NXT shows this coming Monday and Tuesday, which will then give them a month to get the CWC spruced up. One major change that might happen as part of this, is that the plexiglass panels at ringside may be scrapped, with WWE recently conducting a fan survey about whether or not the plexiglass was a good idea or not - not to mention WWE believes that these plastic panels make the NXT show look too dark.
