The title's fate should FINALLY be determined next week.

Last night's four-way 60-minute Iron Match for the vacant WWE NXT Championship didn't yield a winner.

Spoiler reports that emerged prior to the special Super Tuesday broadcast were proven correct, as Finn Balor and Adam Cole wrestled to a draw in a bout that also featured Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano. The outcome came from an extended period throughout which each wrestler had one fall on the scorecard. Balor pinned Ciampa as the clock ran down, seemingly securing his victory, though NXT's 'Prince' was felled by Cole soon after, leaving both men at two falls each.

General Manager William Regal hit the building soon after, announcing that Balor and Cole will now fight in a Sudden Death Battle to crown the new NXT Champion on next week's show.

It was a long, ambitious bout not without highlights, though the finish has drawn understandable criticism.

NXT put the Iron Man match together in the wake of news that new champion Karrion Kross had separated his shoulder while wrestling Keith Lee at TakeOver XXX. An unfortunate, unlucky situation, with NXT's new monster forced to vacate his strap, though booking four former champions against each other seemed a solid compromise.
