WWE: NXT's Arrival Will Lead To 7 Major Departures

2. CM Punk

The CM Punk topic seems to always come up, whether it be the chants in the crowd, or the internet speculating his return to the WWE. Unfortunately, I think CM Punk will never come back to the WWE. It was reported back in March when RAW was in Chicago, that Punk would be returning there, and once again the rumors swirled he would return at WrestleMania 30. With both events passing, and with his contract set to expire after the June Payback pay-per-view, it looks like Punk really is finished with wrestling. While you can't really replace CM Punk, the WWE did a great job showing that the show must go on. The WWE is a machine, and no one man is bigger than the WWE. Both sides have been extremely quiet over the whole situation, and we may never find out why he left the way he did. A star who has been garnering comparisons to CM Punk down in NXT is Corey Graves. He has the punk attitude, the tattoos, the mic skills and the wrestling skills to become a big star at the next level.
