6. What Did Rusev Say During The Finish?
The biggest complaint that fans seemed to have after the I Quit match was that Rusev never officially said the words 'I Quit' (well technically he did, right at the beginning of the match when he told Cena to "Say I Quit" but shut up, smart-arse), with Lana instead seeming to quit for him as he was being STF'd with the ring rope and screaming something in Bulgarian. "It's not a 'He Quits' match", quipped the internet shortly after. But it turns out that Lana was simply translating rather than throwing in the towel for Rusev as, according to a number of different Bulgarian translators on Reddit, this is the gist of what Rusev was shouting while being stretched: "ARGH. No, I give up. Next time I crush you. ARGH. I said stop, goddamn you. I give up. I'll crush you. Stop! ARGH" So even though he didn't say it in English, Rusev certainly quat.
