8. Vince McMahon Gets Hit With A CM Punk Chant
There's little doubt that Vince McMahon is one of the most commanding public speakers in WWE history. During the 'Attitude Era', McMahon was a fine example of someone truly able to manipulate his audience. Some of that magic has faded, Vince doesn't seem entirely comfortable when fans rebel against his scripted words.
At Payback, the look on his face was priceless when the ruthless Chicago crowd began chanting for CM Punk. Rattled, the WWE owner didn't seem to know what to do any time it happened. This isn't the first time fans have thrown McMahon off by chanting Punk's name, but it's the most memorable by far.
Eventually, Vince did a fine job of ignoring the crowd's baying words, but it definitely had him flustered to begin with. The fact he acknowledged it by pausing and encouraging fans to chant louder proves he didn't really know what to say or do.
It was an awkward moment for McMahon, but it should come as no surprise that Punk was revered in his home town.
