1. United States Title: Kevin Owens (c) Vs. Chris Jericho

Result: Jericho makes Owens tap with the Walls of Jericho to win the title (17:55).

Rating: This was a Hell of a way to open the show: a hard-fought battle that defied the obvious result in an entertaining way, even if some fans are understandably miffed how it might stifle Owens' momentum moving forward.

The easy highlights here were Jericho hilariously targeting Owens' hand after he pulled out the finger trick once again, and the terrific closing sequence, which refreshingly actually saw someone tap out to the Walls for the first time in what feels like forever.

This set the PPV off on the right foot for sure, even if it also hit a peak that the rest of the card never managed to match. 7/10
