WWE Payback 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen

WWE shouldn't bury Raw new boy Keith Lee behind Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton. They shouldn't take the Universal Title from new champ Bray Wyatt so soon after SummerSlam. The company shouldn't stack too many matches onto Payback's card, and they shouldn't crown new 'odd couple' Women's Tag-Team Champions on Sunday.

Will they actually make any of the above waking nightmares this weekend? Maybe/maybe not, but they are definite possibilities. Now that the most glaring negatives are out of the way, it's time to look at what WWE should do on their latest pay-per-view (one that's sharing the spotlight with and coming hot on the heels of the so-called 'Biggest Party Of The Summer').

Perhaps the most dizzying question going in relates to the mysterious Retribution faction. At Payback, WWE must move this angle along and stem the tide of childish attacks and light-flickering nuisances the group have coveted to date. Sunday needs to reveal some answers and some identities before Retribution fades away and the company themselves lose interest.
