Paul 'Triple H' Levesque may be planning to spring a few surprises on the Raw after WrestleMania 39.

WrestleVotes and GiveMeSport report, however, that WWE doesn't want to go down the road of pulling the trigger on a glut of debuts. Rather, any surprises that take place on what was once known as WWE's most unpredictable annual television show will be within storylines.

Per the report, it is unlikely that "five, six, or seven" new people will appear on the show, though WrestleVotes believes Zack Ryder/Matt Cardona and/or an NXT call-up is possible.

Cardona has been continually linked with a WWE comeback over the past year or so, having reinvented himself on the independent scene. NXT star Cameron Grimes, meanwhile, is believed to be on the cusp of a main roster breakthrough, having vanished from developmental.

The 3 April episode will be Levesque's first Raw after WrestleMania since becoming WWE's head of creative in July 2022. Traditionally, this specific show has been seen as a grand reset of WWE's storylines following 'Mania, with turns, surprises, and debuts aplenty. This had wavered in recent years, however, with disgraced former Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon coming under fire for shows that failed to live up to their post-'Mania reputation.
