9. RybAxel

It is pretty rare for a team who have lost both of their matches this week to be considered as having a good week but RybAxel felt more relevant this week than they have since they split from Paul Heyman. They competed in two championship matches, challenging for the Tag Team Championships on Raw and competing for the United States Championship on SmackDown. Despite nobody previously viewing them as credible challengers to The Usos the story told in the strong match made them look like they could genuinely take the belts and The Usos retaining looked like surviving rather than the routine victory many expected. On SmackDown they were part of the Fatal Four Way, along with Alberto Del Rio, designed to stack the odds against defending champion Dean Ambrose. Even though Ryback took the loss, the team remained relevant thanks to Curtis Axel costing his partner the championship victory. With all the recent team splits these two may not actually break apart but there is finally some interest in the goings on of RybAxel.
