WWE Power Rankings - May 4th 2014

7. Cesaro

Like his manager Paul Heyman (more on him later), Cesaro had a strong week. Getting the victory over Swagger didn't mean too much thanks to this being the third or fourth time since WrestleMania that he has defeated him but doing so in different fashion thanks to a German Suplex was at least a fresh touch. Cesaro being absolutely fine with Heyman's shady character as long as it produces him results stands in line with his previous association with Zeb Coulter and shows him as calculated and ruthless when it comes to his own success. Even though this will delay the face turn many anticipated it will at least keep Cesaro looking strong until WWE are ready to pull the trigger on his break up from Heyman and Lesnar.

Taking a Five Star Frog Splash on Raw to close the three way fight after (along with Swagger) costing Van Dam the Tournament Final was quickly wiped away by his attack of Rob Van Dam on SmackDown following a match with Swagger, leaving Cesaro the man standing tall in the feud before the pay-per-view.
