6. Bad News Barrett

A great promo from Barrett before the Tournament Final and it was quite surprising given his recent reactions that his B-N-B self-pointing didn't catch on more for chant throughout the match. Unfortunately for Barrett his win was slightly lost in the shuffle of the Cesaro/Swagger/RVD story but the final was a match worthy of finishing the tournament. Barrett seems destined to capture the gold at Extreme Rules with champion Big E being completely overlooked and Vince rumoured to be high on the Bad News gimmick and the tournament has done a good job of re-establishing Barrett as an in-ring presence after months of inactivity and the months before that seeing him losing regularly as Wade Barrett. Barrett's run continued with a fast win on Main Event against the floundering Kofi Kingston after hitting a mid-air Bull Hammer Elbow on the floor to counter Kingston flying off the steel steps. The Bull Hammer is being built up as a finisher that can come from nowhere and can be hit absolutely anywhere and could therefore become one of the most dangerous finishers in the WWE despite just being an elbow to the face.
