WWE Pushing For Rey Mysterio Vs Dominik Mysterio Feud

Plans afoot for Dominik to turn on his daddy dearest.

Oh dear...

As per Dave Meltzer on today's edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is apparently keen to turn Dominik Mysterio heel and having him feud with his legendary father.

Meltzer stated how WWE is desperate to pull off such a turn for Dominik, but there's some pushback from Rey Mysterio on this subject. The belief is that, despite WWE's wishes, Rey is completely against feuding with his offspring.

The past month or more of WWE programming has seen several small teases that a Dominik heel turn could be in the works, but most wrestling fans were trying their best to pretend that WWE wouldn't be daft enough to have Dom snap and attack his old man.

Instead, it looks as if that very much is WWE's intentions at some point in the future.

Of course, there is one huge silver lining should WWE pull the trigger on a Dominik heel turn; that being how the 24-year-old would be able to wrestle against (and learn from), on a mainstream, international television level, one of the all-time greats of the wrestling business.

This one is certainly a situation to keep your eye on across these next few weeks.
