10. Cody Rhodes
2013 was the year that Cody Rhodes stepped up and let the WWE know he is a future main event talent. His second half of the year has proved this is a man who could go on to be the next star- the reaction to his Battleground Rhodes family win over The Shield was electric. It felt like we witnessed the making of a star on that night. In the ring Cody is faultless. He can do it all in technical wrestling, high flying, power moves and submission. He is as smooth as it gets in the ring and his big moonsault is visually stunning. The reaction for his Cross Rhodes finisher at Battleground was possibly the biggest reaction for any finishing move in 2013. Rhodes is getting there with his promo work too, he has looked confident in his delivery and will look to progress further as a character in 2014. His babyface act is over with fans and he has became a key name in the company during his autumn run as a tag team champion with his brother Goldust. Their matches have been of a very good standard. Earlier in the year Cody also enjoyed success as a tag team with Damien Sandow, having multiple good contests with Daniel Bryan and Kane. A key star of the money in the bank match, he went on to a major match at Summerslam with Sandow. All in all a very good year for the talented pro wrestler.
