8. Antonio Cesaro
With a creative push behind him I have no doubt that Antonio Cesaro could top this list in the future. He is that good, an in-ring master with all the ability in the world. Renowned for his athletic ability, Cesaro boasts impressive strength and physicality in addition to pace and stamina. His matches are beautifully wrestled, he works with flawless execution of his move set, and everything he does has purpose. His July 2013 work against Daniel Bryan was sublime, and an April match with Alberto Del Rio was another epic - Cesaro has the ability to do counters and near falls better than almost anyone. He is exceptional and shows no wasted motion. Despite this talent, WWE have failed to push the star. CM Punk highlighted this travesty in the week before Wrestlemania 29 when he wore a Cesaro t-shirt to the Mania press conference. As the year progressed the company got behind the star when they put him in a tag team with the dull Jack Swagger. This has led to some more prominence for Cesaro and there has been some good matches. His Cesaro Swing is one of the most over spots in the company, and he famously swung Khali around by the ankles at Battleground.
Highlight of the year: In ring efforts against Daniel Bryan and Alberto Del Rio
