15. Sheamus
A frustrating year for the Irishman. Last year I had him pegged as the fifth best talent in WWE, but poor creative use and injury has limited Sheamus's ability to shine in 2013. He is a good worker, there is no doubt about that. The problem in 2013 is he struggled to make himself relevant. He was somewhat of a square peg trying to fit into a round hole. His babyface promos were unimaginative and his matches often meaningless. As a result his actual good in-ring talent went to waste. It was a stark contrast from 2012 when Sheamus was the most prolific man in WWE, wrestling more matches than any other man or woman on the roster. He spent the first half of this year feuding with The Shield, and famously wrestled Randy Orton in a match that the crowd absolutely murdered. Chants of "Boring" and Mexican waves summed up the interest people had in Sheamus. It may have been a small mercy for him when he went out injured over the summer - the time off and a heel turn will hopefully reinvigorate him for 2014. Lack of relevance and his time on the bench has relegated his position in my top 20 - but there is no doubt when fit and supported by creative he is a top talent.
Highlight of the year: Failed to have one ... a year to forget
