WWE: Ranking The Previous 12 Battle Royals In Wrestlemania History

6. WrestleMania XIV - 15 Tag Team Battle Royal

PPV: LOD 2000 (aka The Legion of Doom w/ Sunny) won a 15-tag team battle royal by last eliminating Bob Holly & Bart Gunn at 8:14; other teams participating included: the Quebecars, the Headbangers, Farooq & Kama Mustafa, Mark Henry & D-Lo Brown, Henry & Phinneas Godwinn, 8-Ball & Skull, Sniper & Recon, Savio Vega & Miguel Perez, Steve Blackman & Flash Funk, Brian Christopher & Scott Taylor, Jose Estrada & Jesus Castillo, Chainz & Bradshaw, and the Rock 'n' Roll Express. Why it isn't ranked higher: Well, this one was an actual Tag Team Battle Royal, meaning when one member of a team was eliminated the whole team was. It was a cool moment to see LOD return as the mystery participants in the match, but that coolness factor was weighted heavily against their new look: air-brushed motorcycle helmets, biker shorts, and Sunny (who did look insanely hot, but did not look "right" with LOD.) By winning, LOD2K secured a tag title shot at the following pay-per-view, Unforgiven... where they were beaten for the hundredth time by the New Age Outlaws through nefarious means. Interesting Fact: This would be the only WrestleMania appearance for one of the legendary tag teams in wrestling history, The Rock 'n' Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) who were part of Jim Cornette's failed NWA Invasion.
