WWE: Ranking Undertaker's 21 WrestleMania Victories Worst To Best

14. Mark Henry, WrestleMania 22

Fresh off of a Match of the Year candidate against Kurt Angle at February's No Way Out pay-per-view, Undertaker was slated to take on the surging Mark Henry in his specialty, a casket match, at WrestleMania 22 on April 2nd, 2006. Henry had returned from injury late in 2005 and was immediately booked as the dominant force many thought he should have been portrayed as earlier in his career. He targeted Batista, Kurt Angle and Undertaker as he attempted to prove that he had what it took to stand alone atop the SmackDown brand. Targeting the Dead Man by splashing him through an announce table proved to be a mistake, however, that Henry would pay dearly for come the Showcase of the Immortals. Undertaker put Henry over strong throughout the middle portion of the match as the company attempted to sell that the World's Strongest Man was a threat to the top babyfaces in the industry. The Phenom's dive over the top rope, and casket by proxy, was breathtaking and would become a staple of his WrestleMania performances in the years that followed. Henry was not quite the performer he would become half a decade later, which is a shame because there was clearly some chemistry between he and Undertaker. Some of the spots were well planned but the execution, likely due to the weight difference between the two Superstars, was a bit clunky. The Last Ride powerbomb out of the corner is an example. Undertaker delivered a Tombstone to Henry, then dumped his motionless body into the casket and slammed the lid shut to secure yet another victory in a match that stands out as a slight blemish on the otherwise sparkling back half of his WrestleMania resume.
