3. Problems Between KO & Y2J Were Completely Reversed From Last Week

Last week, Kevin Owens told Chris Jericho to shut up during an in-ring confrontation involving Roman Reigns. This left Jericho looking disconsolate, and he even left the building shortly afterwards. Ongoing issues between the on-screen buddies played a huge part in what happened on the most recent episode of Raw.

On this occasion, it was KO who was left looking upset. Told to stay away from Jericho's match against Reigns, Owens defied orders and tried to make things up to Y2J by helping him win. Of course, his presence only served to distract Jericho and effectively cost him the chance to become WWE United States Champion.

WWE stuck to some straightforward storytelling here, the creative team simply reversed what had happened last week and replaced Chris Jericho with Kevin Owens. This time, Owens was unable to comprehend why his so-called friend didn't want him around.

This is all coming to a head for sure, unless WWE decide to have Jericho and Owens make up like they did before. For now, the writers seem content to book the same story with moving parts.
