According to Michael Cole, The New Day will match Demolition's long-standing Tag-Team Title record when the clock strikes midnight following Raw next week. In other words, this means that Raw is the last chance another team has to stop New Day from becoming the new record holders. The fun-loving trio still don't have main challengers for the show.

The purpose of a match pitting Sheamus and Cesaro against Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson was to decide who would gun for the belts next week. Unfortunately for both tandems, the encounter ended in a double disqualification when Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods became involved around ringside.

The babyface champs were hit in the fracas, lost their cool and intervened. Calling for the bell, the referee disqualified both competing teams. Mick Foley was notable by his absence, there was no decision made on who would challenge The New Day this coming Monday.

That means the champions currently have no top challenger to face. Coming out of this week's show, there's no answer as to whether it'll be Sheamus and Cesaro or The Club. Expect that to be rectified next week.
