WWE Raw: 10 Things You Might Have Missed (August 29)

1. Stephanie McMahon & Paul Heyman Ignoring CM Punk Chant

It's incredible to imagine, but it's been almost three years since CM Punk departed WWE. Shortly after the 2014 Royal Rumble, Punk decided he'd had enough of the company and took his leave. Still, years on fans are still reminding WWE that they haven't forgotten the man. On Raw, they did so once again.

Firstly, a chant for the original ECW rang out. Looking sheepish, Paul Heyman allowed Stephanie to remind everyone that (in storyline) she purchased the company from Heyman and that was that. If McMahon thought she had put the rowdy crowd in their place, she didn't bank on what was coming next.

Credit must be given to Paul Heyman for dealing with the situation. As the audience bellowed out CM Punk's name, the masterful mic man continued speaking. Eventually, the chant died down, and both Heyman and Stephanie were able to get on with their scheduled promo as planned.

It was notable that both look ever-so-slightly rattled by the chanting, even if Heyman seemed to deal with it much better than Stephanie.
