WWE Raw: 10 Things You Might Have Missed (August 29)

2. Legitimate Emotion From KO

There's little doubt that Kevin Owens only won the WWE Universal Title due to the plight of Finn Balor. In a classy moment, Balor posted on Twitter that he was pleased for his peer, recognising what a major title win means to him. Regardless of the Irishman's injury being the reason for his crowning, Owens deserves the victory.

Looking at the picture used to accompany this entry, Kevin Owens looks like a kid who just opened up his dream present come Christmas morning. There was a time when it seemed impossible that someone with the frame of KO would even make it to WWE, let alone win what is effectively Raw's version of the World Title.

Staring with disbelief at the belt he had just won, Owens genuinely looked like he was overcome with emotion. There's something truly awesome about this, even if Triple H had been the one to hand the title on a silver platter to him.

Caught up in the glory of the moment, KO looked like he couldn't have cared less about any booking politics, he had achieved his dream.
