3. The League Of Nations Doesn't Have Much Going On
When The League of Nations first formed a few months ago, they looked to be the company's new top heel group (albeit a weak one), assembled around WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus. The plug was pulled rather quickly on the Sheamus experiment, though, and since then, the group has floundered. Injuries may be partially to blame for The League of Nations' stagnation, but the fact remains that the only member of the group with a program is Alberto Del Rio, who will be taking on Kalisto for the U.S. Title at Fastlane's pre-show. For the second week in a row, the group's sole segment on Raw was a tag match involving The Lucha Dragons, and once again Sheamus, Rusev, and King Barrett served as little more than a backdrop for Del Rio to pin Kalisto. If Del Rio loses to Kalisto at Fastlane, will the entire group fade into the background? Or will The League get some fresh storylines heading into WrestleMania? Don't expect too much.
