Dean Ambrose is one of the most unorthodox WWE World Heavyweight Champions yet, but that's not exactly a bad thing. His laid back nature directly contrasts to the tightly wound personality of Seth Rollins, making them a good fit as opponents. Coming across like a cool babyface on Raw, Ambrose waxed lyrical about a variety of subjects.

Interrupting Seth's opening promo, Ambrose similarly discussed Roman Reigns before moving on to what might happen at Battleground. Eventually, both AJ Styles and John Cena made their presence felt, but not before the 'Lunatic Fringe' was able to pass a reference the way of The New Day.

In a funny moment, Ambrose said that Reigns must wish he had New Day's time machine, so he could go back in time and reverse the mistake that led to his WWE suspension. The statement occurred quickly, and didn't receive too big a reaction, but it was still nice to see the WWE Champion talk about other characters on the show.

There was a natural flow to Dean's dialogue, and his New Day reference only helped that. It's great when characters talk about things that happened weeks/months before on the show.
