7. Charlotte Doesn't Forget Her Status
Charlotte's days look to be numbered as WWE Women's Champion. It's been a good run for the former NXT standout, but it's clear that Sasha Banks will eventually dethrone her to bag the gold for herself. That match has been a long time coming on the main roster, and could even happen at Battleground.
If Charlotte's lucky, WWE may wish to hold off until SummerSlam for Sasha's big win. Therefore, Battleground could feature a lucky escape from Charlotte, retaining the title. On this most recent edition of Raw, she showed - even in character - just how important that particular belt is to her.
Occasionally, champions in WWE forget the importance of the physical belt. For example, The Miz carried Maryse from ringside following his match with Kane, completely forgetting about the Intercontinental gold.
Charlotte refused to make the same mistake, even in defeat. After she and Dana Brooke had lost out to Paige and Sasha Banks, Charlotte called for the referee to get her the Women's Title.
The camera didn't linger too long on this, so some may have missed it happening completely.
