It's fair to say that the Cruiserweight division hasn't yet set the world alight on Monday Night Raw. Whereas the Cruiserweight Classic on the WWE Network sparkled each week, high-flying action on the main roster has been a tad hit or miss. At Survivor Series, the chance exists that management will shake things up.

In another Raw vs. SmackDown bout, Brian Kendrick defends the WWE Cruiserweight Title against Kalisto. Should the masked man win, the entire division will be moved to Tuesday nights. On Raw, WWE tried to add some spice to the situation on Sunday, and did so in quite a subtle fashion.

Attacking Sin Cara right from the off, Kendrick hammered the former Lucha Dragon. In that very tag-team, Cara had worked alongside Kendrick's opponent at Survivor Series. It felt like an opportunity missed when the announcers didn't make a bigger deal out of that.

By abusing Kalisto's old partner, Kendrick was subtly building towards his next pay-per-view showdown. It's pretty baffling that this wasn't the core story of the Raw match from the get-go.
