WWE Raw Chicago Review: 5 Big Talking Points From Seeing It Live
2. Wrestlemania XXX Outlook
The only two official matches on the card are Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton vs. Batista for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Sure, we are still 34 days away but the only other matches that seem pretty set in stone are Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H and John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt. There are a lot of questions still in the air. Where will The Shield be? Will they face Harper and Rowan again to finally break up? Will Cesaro and Swagger face off? Will Big E defend his Intercontinental championship? Will CM Punk return to be thrown in the mix somewhere? Where will people like Ziggler, Sheamus, Christian, Del Rio, Big Show and the Rhodes brothers be placed? Undertaker was absent from the show while Cena came to the ring to cut a boo filled promo for his match with Wyatt. Cena is still "injured" but the fans were cheering at the fact that he didn't have a match. When the Wyatts' cryptic messages zapped on the screen the crowd was paying attention again. Cena has barely been on Raw for the past month or two. Personally, I barely notice a difference. Lots and lots of questions that need to be answered of the next few weeks. The only real announcements for Wrestlemania we had was the newest inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2014. That man is the late great Mr. Paul Bearer who passed away last year around Wrestlemania season. Who will induct him? Probably Mick Foley or Kane due to Undertaker never making public appearances to preserve his character. Hopefully, next week on Raw the card will start to come together a bit more clearly.
