WWE Raw Debut Wrestlers: Where Are They Now?

11. Razor Ramon

On the first episode of Monday Night Raw, Scott Hall's Razor Ramon character gave an in-ring interview with Vince McMahon. The promo was designed to build towards Ramon's WWF Heavyweight Title bout against Bret Hart at the upcoming Royal Rumble pay-per-view. McMahon was high on Hall, believing he'd be an excellent challenger for Hart and help provide a memorable title showdown. So good was Hall at portraying Razor, and so charismatic was he, that fans eventually turned the character babyface. Following a run that lasted until 1996, Hall joined WCW and became an even bigger star as part of the New World Order. Then personal demons started to get in the way of his career. Numerous run-ins with the law and problems relating to alcohol and drug use started to plague the man and his career. Most felt it was only a matter of time before Scott Hall turned up on a news story tragically reporting his death. Thankfully, with the help of Diamond Dallas Page, he was able to turn his life around and was even inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2014. This marked a significant turnaround in his life, and he continues to battle against addiction to this day whilst making sporadic appearances at fan conventions and indie shows.
