Shawn Michaels is remembered as one of the greatest in-ring performers of all-time. Back in 1993, he was someone the WWF were interested in pushing as a hot young singles star. Having split from his former partner in The Rockers, Marty Jannetty, Michaels was the WWF Intercontinental Champion with a career on the rise. Playing the cocky, arrogant 'Heartbreak Kid', he was one of the best upper mid-card heels the company had under contract. On the very first episode of Monday Night Raw, he was scheduled to defend the Intercontinental Title against Max Moon during a featured match on the show. Michaels would go on to be involved in and create countless memorable moments on the program over the years. Retiring from the business following a well-received match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXVI in 2010, Shawn seems content to sometimes pop his head through the WWE door and appear on TV when called upon. During interviews, he has expressly stated that he has no interest in actually wrestling ever again. Most seem to believe him at this point, and he's happy to host a hunting TV show away from the WWE spotlight.
