Charlotte and Ric Flair are ringside to watch the match. I'm actually digging this Charlotte-Becky program but I only wish they dragged out Charlotte's heel turn a little longer. It seemed like they rushed it in order to get Charlotte away from the Bellas and into a feud with one of the NXT girls. By the way, can someone please explain Becky's steampunk character to me? I can appreciate that she's Irish and a good worker in the ring but why the goggles? Is there a part to the character that I'm missing? Becky starts with a dropkick and slugs away but Tamina catches her with a superkick and stomps away for two. The announcers completely ignore the match and talk about Ric Flair...and WWE wonders why no one reacts to the in-ring work on Raw anymore aside from the main event? Maybe if the announcers treated each match like a legitimate athletic competition instead of background noise then fans would start to care. Tamina slams Becky and tries for a pin but thankfully Becky kicks out at one because this isn't 1956. They screw up a facebuster stop from the corner (seemed like Tamina's fault) but Becky catches her with an elbow anyway. The crowd actually reacts to Becky's comeback, which is always a good sign, and a dropkick puts Tamina down for a pair of legdrops and a two count. Tamina sends her to the corner but Becky climbs the buckles and wraps her up in the DIs-arm-her for the submission victory. After the match, Becky demands a title shot but Charlotte laughs at her. Becky changes tactics and mocks Ric Flair, saying his daughter is a coward and maybe he is to. In typical Ric Flair fashion, he goes nuts and immediately accepts the match on his daughter's behalf, something that Charlotte doesn't look too pleased about. My Take: Tamina is a slug in the ring but you can tell Becky is fired up for her title shot. She bounced around the ring for Tamina and showed good fire on her comeback. Without Sasha Banks, Team BAD is completely useless so I have no problem with Lynch treating Tamina like a big jobber. As far as the match between Lynch and Charlotte goes, I think it should have good heat and you know it will be well-worked. With Ric accepting the challenge for Charlotte, that will be a good excuse for Charlotte to dump him if she loses the match. It's not that I don't love Ric Flair, it's just that Charlotte needs to stand on her own and Ric's presence is hard to overcome.
