Back in the day, these drawing segments were backstage and actually helped character development. Little things like Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard plotting against Andre the Giant, Ted DiBiase buying number 30, and Eddie Guerrero pick-pocketing Ric Flair are those little character development segments that are drastically missing from today's product. Anyway, Vince and Stephanie are out here to draw and see who will be the #1 entrant in the Royal Rumble match on Sunday. If you can't see what's coming here, then please stop watching wrestling forever. Of course, the first name drawn in Roman Reigns because the odds are totally stacked against him, how is he ever going to win?!? Vince wants to make sure this whole thing is legit, so he draws a few more names (having some difficulty opening the little plastic balls containing the names) and, naturally, every single name in the drawing is Roman Reigns. So now Roman has to go through every single guy to retain his title. How will our hero survive?!? While it's predictable, if Roman can pull off a great performance in the Rumble and tease elimination a few times, he might actually win the Orlando crowd over. However, WWE has be sure not to have him eliminate any crowd favorites like Dolph Ziggler or Dean Ambrose because then the crowd will turn on him. They need Roman to show weakness, sell his ass off, tease elimination a few times and show fire during his comebacks. Let him dominate a few lower guys but he has to get beaten down quite a bit too. The audience has to sympathize with Reigns, not resent him for eliminating their favorites. This is a tight rope to be walking, so I hope Vince puts on his lucky underwear on Sunday.
