5. Daniel Bryan Will Return Next Week

Just two weeks after invasive neck surgery, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan will return to next Monday's RAW, at the request of Stephanie McMahon. It was announced on this week's broadcast by Stephanie herself that the title will not be removed from Daniel Bryan since he cannot compete...at least, not yet. Instead Stephanie asks Bryan to return to WWE RAW next Monday and "do the right thing." http://youtu.be/iCryiWf-7nM This is a somewhat unexpected move, and a rather nice surprise. While most fans felt The Authority would get involved in this removal of the title, it was believed Bryan would be stripped of his championship last night on RAW. Instead, we get a nice tease for his return next week, and again some of the best heel work of Stephanie McMahon's career also. This angle is still smoldering, and while it will certainly outstay its welcome if it continues on after Payback, right now WWE is hitting on all cylinders.
