I don't think there's anyone out there who doesn't think Sting is a Hall of Famer. Quite simply, Sting was the crown jewel of WCW and one of the very few WCW stars who never jumped to Vince McMahon's promotion even though he could have made tons of money. Sting's feuds with Ric Flair, Vader, and Hulk Hogan were purely entertaining and Sting always did his part. It's honestly a shame that Sting never got a shot on the big stage of WWE after WCW folded. His time with TNA made sense from a financial and schedule standpoint but it honestly seemed like Sting was slumming it in TNA instead of having his much-rumored Wrestlemania moment against the Undertaker. Instead, we had to wait until Sting was well past the time when he should have been in a wrestling ring and he got the "honor" of wrestling Triple H at Wrestlemania. Instead of Hunter doing the right thing and allowing a legend to have his moment in the sun, they booked it as the last battle of the Monday Night Wars between WWE and WCW. Of course, half their audience wasn't even alive when that War was occurring but that didn't stop WWE from putting Hunter over Sting because anything related to WCW sucks in their minds. Now that Sting has been injured, I honestly hope he stays out of in-ring action and retires permanently. Sting has done more than enough in his career and doesn't need to put his body at any more risk in 2016. Speaking of the Hall of Fame, isn't it about time the Freebirds go in? The event is taking place in Dallas where the Freebirds reigned for years so if it doesn't happen this year, it's not going to happen. One final note: I really hope Ric Flair inducts Sting and then immediately turns on him one last time.
